Behind the camera

My name is Bill Roop. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee and am married to an amazing wife and have two beautiful daughters who have grown into remarkable women. I'm a retired member of the United Stated Air Force where I developed a love for photography during my travels. Spring of 2010 my photography started gravitating toward people. That's when my passion turned to portraits and also the Launching of the Husband and Wife team Bill Roop Photography. I love the interaction and always enjoy meeting someone new and inevitably making new friends. Our work has consisted of Weddings, Bridal, Trash the Dress (so much fun), Senior Portraits, Engagement, Family and Mother/Daughter sessions. I have to say that Weddings have quickly turned into our favorite. We have been blessed to acquire new wonderful friends in the midst of capturing their special day.
